Gurmeet Sian, RIBA Architect

Gurmeet is the founder of Office Sian Architecture + Design and the driving force behind Homes by Office Sian. An RIBA Chartered Architect and recipient of the RIBA Project Architect of the Year Award, Gurmeet is known for his commitment to high-quality, thoughtful architecture that is grounded in social value, technical excellence, and deep personal connection.

Gurmeet has featured in BBC’s Tricks of the Trade and the Grand Designs Show, showcasing his talent in imagining and communicating good design.

With over two decades of experience designing residential, community and cultural buildings, Gurmeet’s work is defined by clarity, rigour, and a quiet confidence. He leads each project with hands-on involvement — from initial concepts to on-site delivery — ensuring every home reflects the values and lifestyle of its owners.

Gurmeet sits on multiple Design Review Panels across London, is Chair of two community architecture forums, and was formerly a trustee of Capital Age Arts. His dual background in both private and public architecture informs his sensitive and strategic approach to residential design.
